Hi, I’m Steve. Based in the North West of the UK and navigating a new chapter of my life. In 2025, I was diagnosed with both ADHD and Autism—a combination often called AuDHD. I'm in my 40's, so this is known as a late-stage diagnosis.
To be honest, the diagnosis wasn't a total shock. However, for years I was met with myths like, "It would be obvious if you were," or the outdated belief that the two couldn't possibly co-exist. We now know they don't just co-exist; they often "mask" one another, making the internal tug-of-war a very quiet, personal experience.
Why start this site? I’m here to document my journey of self-discovery. My hope is that by sharing what I learn, I can help someone else—whether you’re looking to understand yourself, a loved one, or a colleague. I’ll be sharing resources, research, and personal reflections along the way.
